Client Account Setup Guide

Set up the core accounts that keep your domain, website code, forms, and business tools under your control.

Why this matters

At Banyan Tree Design, we want your website to belong to you. That means your domain, hosting, website code, and form tools should live in accounts that you control. We’ll guide you through the setup and only ask for access where needed.

You can still have Banyan Tree Design build, launch, and support the site. The important accounts stay yours.

Recommended accounts

These accounts keep a starter website easier to launch, hand off, manage, and support over time.

Already have accounts?

Already using GoDaddy, Namecheap, Squarespace, Wix, Google Workspace, Zoho, or another provider? That’s usually okay. These recommendations create a smoother owner-controlled setup, but most common providers can work.

Do not send passwords

Please do not send us your account passwords. When access is needed, we’ll guide you through inviting Banyan Tree Design as a collaborator, admin, or temporary user whenever the provider supports it.

Simple setup checklist

  1. Create or confirm your domain account
  2. Create a GitHub account if the project needs a code handoff
  3. Choose whether your site needs a contact form
  4. Confirm the email address where form submissions should go
  5. Invite Banyan Tree Design when setup or support access is needed
  6. Remove access after handoff if you prefer

These provider recommendations keep the starter website process organized and easier to manage after handoff. You are not required to use these exact services, and Banyan Tree Design does not own your accounts.
